Dr. Austin van den Brink
Chiropractor & Registered Kinesiologist
Austin obtained his Human Kinetics degree from UBC Okanagan in 2016 with a focus on clinical exercise physiology. While in school Austin worked as a personal trainer helping his clients reach their individual goals from simply establishing a routine and becoming active, gaining strength, or recovering from an injury. He takes an integrative evidence-based approach to assessing the body, how it moves, and why it moves that way, while applying corrective techniques to help create more functional movement, helping them reach their goals and live the life they want.
This led him to pursue further education at Palmer West in California where he graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic in early 2020. During this time, he gained a vast amount of knowledge about how the body functions, the injuries or dysfunctions that can occur, and how to safely treat them. He is excited to be back in Kelowna and start applying this knowledge in the community.
In his spare time Austin loves to stay active whether it be training in the gym, playing hockey, snowboarding at Big White, or spending time on one of the many beautiful Okanagan golf courses.
