Glenn Charbonneau, Registered Physiotherapist at Pro Motion Clinic

Glenn is a Kelowna-raised physiotherapist with experience across both private practice and public healthcare. He completed a Bachelor of Human Kinetics at UBC Okanagan before earning his Master of Physical Therapy at UBC Vancouver in 2016. Since then, his clinical experience has included orthopaedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, workplace and motor vehicle injuries, and return-to-work planning. Alongside private practice, Glenn works with Interior Health in urgent care and occupational rehabilitation settings. His experience across these settings shapes a practical approach to rehabilitation, whether someone is returning to work, sport, or everyday activity.

Glenn starts by understanding what matters most to each person and builds a rehabilitation plan that fits into everyday life. Depending on the person and condition, treatment may include education, exercise, progressive loading, hands-on care, dry needling (IMS), and shockwave therapy when appropriate. He has a particular interest in persistent or complex pain, helping people make sense of ongoing symptoms and using education, movement, and a step-by-step approach to support function and confidence with activity.

Outside the clinic, Glenn enjoys staying active in the community he calls home by running local paths, playing soccer, and getting out for the occasional round of golf. He enjoys working with people across a wide range of ages and activity levels throughout Kelowna and the Okanagan.

Common areas Glenn works with include:

  • Back and neck pain
  • Shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle and foot injuries
  • Running and recreational sports injuries
  • Nerve pain and common nerve entrapments
  • Post-operative rehabilitation
  • BPPV (positional vertigo)
  • Workplace injuries and return-to-work support
  • Motor vehicle injuries
  • Persistent or complex pain
