WorkSafeBC Claims Kelowna
What Is WorkSafeBC?
WorkSafeBC is British Columbia’s workers’ compensation system. If you’re injured or become ill because of your job, WorkSafeBC may cover your treatment costs and provide wage replacement while you recover. This includes coverage for Physiotherapy, chiropractic care, registered massage therapy, and other rehabilitation services that may help you get back to work.
The system exists to protect workers across BC, from construction sites in the Okanagan to healthcare facilities at Kelowna General Hospital to retail locations in Orchard Park Shopping Centre.
What We Offer for WorkSafeBC Clients
Pro Motion Clinic provides comprehensive care for workplace injuries. Our team includes Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Registered Massage Therapists, and Kinesiologists who work with injured workers every day.
We understand that you’re not just trying to manage pain. You’re trying to get back to doing your job, whether that means swinging a hammer on construction sites near Mission Creek, lifting patients in healthcare settings, or standing through long shifts in Kelowna’s busy restaurant scene.
Our approach focuses on four key areas:
Hands-On Treatment
Return-to-Work Planning
Understanding Your Injury
Exercise Rehabilitation
How WorkSafeBC Claims Work
When you’re injured at work, you need to report the injury to your employer right away. Your employer will file a report with WorkSafeBC, and you’ll need to file your own claim as well. You can do this online, by phone at 1-888-967-5377, or by mail.
Once WorkSafeBC receives your claim, they’ll review the information from you, your employer, and your healthcare providers. If your claim is accepted, WorkSafeBC will cover approved treatment costs. You’ll receive a claim number that you’ll use when booking appointments at clinics like Pro Motion.
The key thing to remember is that time matters. Report your injury quickly, seek treatment soon, and tell your healthcare providers that your injury is work-related.
Common Workplace Injuries We Treat
We also provide care for workers dealing with concussions, repetitive strain injuries, and soft tissue injuries from workplace accidents.
Billing WorkSafeBC Directly
When you book your first appointment, let us know it’s for a WorkSafeBC claim. Bring your claim number with you. We’ll handle the paperwork and communicate directly with WorkSafeBC about your treatment plan.
For certain services like Physiotherapy and registered massage therapy, WorkSafeBC has specific guidelines about the number of treatments covered within certain timeframes. We’ll make sure you understand what’s covered and keep you informed throughout your care.
Starting Treatment at Pro Motion Clinic

What to Bring to Your First Appointment
If you’re still working in a modified capacity, bring information about your current restrictions and duties. This helps us track your progress and communicate effectively with your case manager.

We take this communication seriously because we know it affects your benefits and your return-to-work timeline. Our reports are thorough, timely, and focused on functional improvements that matter for your job.
